Robert Buckley's Economics Background Exposed on 'Wendy Williams' (VIDEO)

by Harley W. Lond, posted May 17th 2010 6:42PM
Not everyone on TV or film grew up wanting to be a star. Take Robert Buckley.

The star of "Fashion House" and denizen of "Lipstick Jungle' and "One Tree Hill" was on 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated) Monday and told Williams about his career arc. Born in Southern California (West Covina), he attended U.C. San Diego, where he earned an economics degree. He got a job as an economics consultant, but just hated the work. After the second day, he called his mother from his cubicle and told her, "I have to quit." He spent a year and a half at the job, calling his mother every morning on his way to work. "She was like mobile Zoloft," he told Williams.
