Wow! I'm not much of a DVD buyer - is $70 expensive for 7 discs? Sounds like a lot, but I do love the show, and haven't purchased the first 13 eps yet, so maybe I will spend the dough in September. Sounds like a great set with lots of extras. I guess I will keep my eyes on the reviews when it comes out to make up my mind...

It's not going to be $70 dollars ever. Its normal in store price will likely be $50 at a target, walmart, or best buy. However, the week it comes out it will probably be between $35 and $45 on sale. The high MSRP is due to music licensing costs and the cost of the show. You can either buy it the week it comes out or wait for black friday or something for it to be on sale again.∫

and this is exactly why i HATE FOX. they ALWAYS are SO incredibly greedy. i completely agree with Sidney, if you're going to release a split season dvd, then u need to release a split season dvd. i don't WANT TO MANGLE MY DVD SET BY CUTTING OUT THE UPC BARCODE FOR A STUPID GLEEBATE. i knew i shouldn't have bought the split season dvd. i just KNEW that FOX wouldn't care about their consumers. and yeah dvd's and dvd sets are usually not the msrp when they FIRST come out, but $70 is still too high. it's usually 50-60$. and what if someone can't get to the store or something the week it comes out? then they have to pay the full 70$. stupid. AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHY PEOPLE DO BOOTLEG DVD'S AND ILLEGAL FILE SHARING; BECAUSE OF GREEDY MULTIJILLIONAIRE COMPANIES WHO ARE SO INCREDIBLY GREEDY. I HATE YOU FOX.

We all knew, though... When the first volume was released, that there would be no volume two, just the entire season as a whole. There was no hiding that fact, so the people buying the half season knew what they were doing. Sure, it was a weird think to do by Fox, but it's not like it was a secret.

And of course they want to make money off of it. It's not a pro bono company.

Agreed! I bought the Volume 1 when it first came out and I love it so much and watch it all the time! But I don't wanna buy it again! Have they ever heard of Volume 2? This is way to expensive and pointless when most true Gleeks that would buy Volume 2 already have the first one! But as Glee obsessed as I am I'll probably end up having to get it : P

decision lol. At least there's a "gleebate" ;)

I t better have more stuff than they are mentioning.

I don't give a damn about karaoke or dance stuff. I want commentaries, bloopers, outtakes, songs they cut. Concert video.

I don;t even care for Sue's corner.

And there better no be one second of stuff on that DVD that I can see on the internet.

How would they have concert videos? Their concerts are 2 weeks before the dvd is released. The dvds will have been packaged and sitting in a warehouse waiting to be sent to stores. They will have extended episodes which should count for your deleted scenes and maybe songs cut.

The concerts have already started, and the DVDs are not being released until September. Better get you dates straight!

Is anyone honestly surprised by them not releasing the back 9 separately? Seriously?

I'm not, and I didn't want them to anyways. I do not support companies releasing half seasons of shows. Thats why I did not buy the Vol. 1 set. No one should have.

What a load of b.s. 70 bucks for the season? You can get the 'volume 1' dvd for less than 20. What a travesty.

It's not going to be 70 dollars, it will more likely be around 30-35 on release date. Dvds are almost never sold at their MSRP. Stop complaining
