George Lopez stopped by 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated) and spoke on the current state of close friend Sandra Bullock. Lopez praised Bullock's skills at being a mother and thanked her for giving his career a jump-start.

"If anybody was meant to be a mother, it is Sandra Bullock. She has an open heart for everybody and she is going to be the greatest mother," Lopez said of Bullock, who finalized the adoption of a baby from New Orleans while simultaneously announcing her divorce from cheating husband Jesse James.

Lopez also thanked Bullock for helping elevate his career; Bullock was the executive producer of his former sitcom 'The George Lopez Show.' "She's my fairy godmother. 'The Blind Side' movie, her and I lived that movie. She found me, gave me an opportunity, and here I am because of her."
