'Dancing with the Stars' - Who Will Win Season 10?
The tenth season of 'Dancing with the Stars' has produced some very strong competition after we lost Buzz Aldrin and Kate Gosselin. While I thought the final three would probably be Evan, Nicole and Pamela Anderson, Erin Andrews has proven to be one of the strongest dancers this season. The final three couples have all gotten 10s from the judges, but Erin has yet to get a perfect 30. Last week's score of 29 sets her up to compete right next to Evan and Nicole.
All three couples will have a freestyle, a dance-off, a dance re-do and one final dance. For the freestyle, if the couples stray away from doing a hip-hop, disco or freaky doll routine, the performance should determine who will end up winning the season. Who will win? Here is analysis of the final three contestants.

Erin Andrews

Highest Score: 29 (Paso Doble)Lowest Score: 18 (Tango - Technique Score)
Erin's Analysis: Just looking at Erin's scores from Len, he's scored Erin and Nicole the same during weeks 1, 6, 7 and 9 and gave Erin a 10 well before Nicole ever got one. Len will probably continue to score Erin just as well as Nicole during the finale as long as she doesn't have jittery legs. Erin has the drive and determination and has gotten past the problem of lanky appendages. From an 'Entertainment Tonight' interview, we learned the two are re-doing their Argentine tango and trying to improve on a samba. As long as Erin can get past the jitters and produce sharp, sexy lines, she can score very highly with the judges.
Maks' Analysis: Maks has made it to the finals twice with Laila Ali in season 4 and Mel B. in season 5. In both instances, Maks went the more hip-hop inspired direction for the freestyle. Since both didn't capture the audience's attention, I doubt that Erin would even consider it. Maks seems to get lowered scores and negative comments about his penchant for stripping, but the only time it would fit would be if he magically slipped that into the freestyle.
Voting Blocks: People that don't like Elisabeth Hasselbeck, people supporting her after the peep-hole incident and people that think Erin and Maks would make a cute couple
Predicted Finish: Second - I have a feeling people will think Nicole is too good and Erin will slip in.
Evan LysacekHighest Score: 30 (Paso Doble)
Lowest Score: 23 (Viennese Waltz)
Evan's Analysis: If we look at previous seasons, whenever an Olympian makes it to the finals, winter or summer, they have managed to win the mirrorball trophy. All of the Olympians have that same drive, determination, physical strength and mental preparation to get through stressful situations. Evan is definitely progressing and having the paso doble near the end has boosted some of his confidence. The big concern about Evan is how lyrical his movements are and how they often don't translate well in the Latin dances.
Anna's Analysis: Anna has come a long way since her last appearance in the final three. She was the runner up with Jerry Rice, but in all reality, they were in third place with judges scores and if it weren't for Stacy Kiebler's lackluster freestyle, they would have finished third. None of Anna's partners have been as young or fluid as Evan, so she can create a very interesting freestyle full of lifts and daring moves.
Voting Blocks: Olympics fans or fans of the stereotypical all-American guy.
Predicted Finish: First - Evan's gotten the gold once before and I expect him to bring his A-game for the finale.
Nicole ScherzingerHighest Score: 30 (Paso Doble)
Lowest Score: 23 (Quickstep)
Nicole's Analysis: One very interesting statistic worth noting is that every time a female pop/R&B star has made it to the finale, they lose. I have a big feeling that Nicole has been pumped pretty high, especially with Carrie Ann calling her the best dancer ever. The "ringer" status is a bad thing for many pros (like Mya last season) and people don't want to see the ringer win. Either way, Nicole is damn good and has the right body for Latin dances. I'm not as much of a fan of her waltz/Viennese waltz, but she can understand getting into character like her foxtrot and quickstep.
Derek's Analysis: Derek has made it to the finals only once (with Brooke Burke), but won. All of the professionals that Derek has been teamed with have had great potential, so he's been able to be very creative with choreography. His choreography tends to be too edgy for Len, but since the freestyle has no limitations, Derek will probably have a fun time.
Voting Blocks: People that voted for Mya, Mel B. or Lance Bass, every obsessed Filipino or Hawaiian that wants to see Nicole win and people that appreciate professional-level dance.
Predicted Finish: Third - I'm still thinking people will throw an extra vote towards Erin before they would Nicole.
Side Notes: For the group dance challenge in week 7, Erin and Evan were on the losing Team Madonna versus Nicole's Team GaGa, but this will be the first time that all three will be up against each other. Evan looked a tad bit behind when they were in group, but Nicole was a bit ahead in her dance.
I always stress that the freestyle will determine the winner, but in all actuality, it's up to the fans to actually get up and vote. Who do you think will win 'Dancing with the Stars' this season? Leave comments below.
