The Dark Side on 'Family Guy' (VIDEO)

The Dark Side on 'Family Guy'It's an important geek anniversary. 30 years ago on Friday, the film 'The Empire Strikes Back' was released. And 'Family Guy' (Sun., 9PM ET on Fox) chose to celebrate this event with its second 'Star Wars' parody.

[Spoiler alert.]

Actually, the words "spoiler alert" have probably never been less necessary. You either know what happens in 'The Empire Strikes Back' or you don't. In the 'Family Guy' version, Darth Vader (played by Stewie) confronts Luke (played by Chris), and says these dreaded words to him: "I am your father."

Chris's reaction is an all-time classic. "Well, that's fine, but I don't see how that affects ... whaaaaaat?!" And then the full realization hits him.

(By the way, in case none of this makes sense, Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father in the real movie, and we remain slightly stunned that you didn't know this already. Um ... SPOILER ALERT?)
