Why We Loved to Hate Him: When crafting our list of the Worst 'American Idol' finalists ever, we knew right away that only one contestant could top it. That person, of course, was Sanjaya Malakar, the hair-raising trainwreck from season 6 who made us yell, cringe and, in the case of one specific girl, cry.

Why We Loved to Hate Him: When crafting our list of the Worst 'American Idol' finalists ever, we knew right away that only one contestant could top it. That person, of course, was Sanjaya Malakar, the hair-raising trainwreck from season 6 who made us yell, cringe and, in the case of one specific girl, cry.

Indeed, Sanjaya was the ultimate 'Idol' trainwreck. From missing notes to flubbing lyrics, he did it all, launching a kind of hysteria that had not been seen on 'American Idol' since the days of William Hung.

Sanjaya came at a turning point for the show. It had just come off its biggest season ever, and right away, things weren't clicking: The contestants were noticeably weaker (hello, Haley Scarnato!) and the producers seemed way more interested in 'Idol''s celebrity mentors than anything else. In turn, Sanjaya became the focal point of the season, with his bad vocals and ever-changing hair, and by the time he came out rocking a ridiculous pony-hawk, seemingly making a mockery of the show, it was hard not to wonder if 'American Idol' was beginning to derail.

The Kardashian's are totally entertaining. Who doesn't say, "I wish I were in their situation." They live life to the fullest and everyone wishes they could do the same. There are those who say that Kris pushes her kids too much. I see a Mom, who wants to see her kids succeed. She has taught them well. Even with their spats, they all love one another and have time for one another when that time is needed. The love is always there and I respect that.
Go Kardashians!!!!!!!!!!!

Im a faithful watcher of idol i loved scotty and lauren that was a hard decision. the year before it was very clear adam lambert ( our next Elvis) reguardless of his life of choice. i just listen to the music. The young black girl that now does sing on news was fantastic also.

The biggest Travesty EVER was when ADAM LAMBERT didn't win! No offense to Kris Allen. He's a sweet guy. But there are a 100 Kris Allen's in every town across the USA! All you Gay Bashers just ZIP IT! It is not your business about ANYBODY's sexuality except your own. PERIOD! Go to Kris Allen's Fan Site. There is nothing there. The crickets are deafening. Adam has gone Gold. Platinum and has sold out his FIRST HEADLINING TOUR! That does not happen folks! The DVD is amazing. The concert was awesome. ADAM was the real winner and where is Kris????????????? I really feel really sorry for the guy. It would have been more humane to give Adam the Win than turn Kris into a laughingstock for the rest of his life. The real cream rises to the top.

I WANT TO KNOW WHY WAS LADY GAGA PICKED FOR AMERICAN IDOL===AS THIS WAS A FAMILY SHOW?
SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ANY WHERE BUT ON THIS SHOW. AT OUR HOUSE THERE WERE GRAND
PARENTS,MOTHERS FRIENDS AND 4 CHILDREN AGES 10 TO 14 (GIRLS NITE OUT) I AM NOT A PRUDE.
AND YOU WONDER WHY KIDS ARE LIKE THEY ARE,

JUST WATCH THE T.V AND YOU WILL ALL UNDERSTAND, FROM FAMILY SHOWS TOO GO SPONSORS

Casey, Pia, and James were clearly the most talented and best singers. The finals of Scotty vs Lauren was cute, but only based on popularity and the teen vote. Neither will come close to the careers of Pia, James, or Casey. Did someone say "Chris Allen"?

I stopped watching when Daughtry was voted out. But recently I was at someone's house for the Carole King night, and I thought that the guy that did Hi-De-Ho was so amazingly talented that he was on the wrong show. And sure enough, he was gone the next week. (May have been Casey). Anyway, AI and I are on different wavelenghts totally.

Last night's Idol was a disaster! Pia is by far the most talented singer in the bunch. She will be picked up by top music moguls as fast as you can say "Idol crashed and burned last night." I wish her the best. You will see her soon playing to crowds that appreciates quality music. As for the other talent, Scott Macentyre and James Durbin were better than Jacob. Don't think I'll stick around with Idol anymore.

Why is Scott McIntyre not on this list? Everyone knows that he's a bad singer but only got in because he was blind. I probably put him 3rd.
