'FlashForward' Comes to an End (VIDEO)

This the last episode of 'FlashForward' (Thu., 8PM ET on ABC). It wasn't meant to be; originally, the show airing tonight was intended to be the season finale. But the TV gods did not smile down on the series -- and so, the show has been canceled before its time.

On the final episode, Mark (Joseph Fiennes) uncovers the date of the next flash-forward. Meanwhile, Simon (Dominic Monaghan) and Demetri (John Cho) work together in a desperate attempt to stop it. Our heroes fail. A second flash-forward takes place, with nearly everyone on Earth experiencing the future events of their lives.

Though the characters may get a vision of their future, we won't. The show is finished. The days of the future have passed -- now we can only imagine what could have been.
