Lionel Richie Sings on the 'National Memorial Day Concert' (VIDEO)

Lionel Richie sang 'America the Beautiful' to close out the 'National Memorial Day Concert' (Sun., 8PM ET on PBS). The concert has been on the air for more than 20 years, and exists to recognize the sacrifices of our brave men and women in uniform. This year, the concert honors the 60th anniversary of the Korean War.

Richie was joined on stage for the finale by a large number of celebrities -- including co-hosts Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise. Joe and Gary are both devoted to veterans' causes and support our troops in their service around the world. Using the American Forces Network, the show was broadcast to more than one million American troops and their families, stationed in 175 countries around the globe.
