The 'Cake Boss' Tries to Surprise His Wife (VIDEO)

The third season of 'Cake Boss' (Mon., 9PM ET on TLC) has begun. On the latest episode, head boss Buddy Valastro tries to make a surprise cake for his wife's 30th birthday. A really big cake. A cake that is in the shape of an enormous woman, for whatever reason.

But then, Buddy is surprised in his shop by the sudden arrival of his wife. Will he be able to hide the cake from her in time?

... Yeah. Um, 'Cake Boss,' we love you. And we don't mean to attack you in any way. But is it really possible for a guy to be surprised by his wife when said wife has a camera crew following her around? It just seems like some slightly manufactured drama, is all that we're saying. Still, the cake looks mighty tasty. Even if it is in the shape of an huge woman (for some reason).
