Hoda Plans to Use Giant Tampon on BP Oil Spill (VIDEO)

It's good to know that Hoda Kotb is taking things seriously as we experience the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history. On the fourth hour of 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM ET on NBC), Kotb unveiled a plan to use a giant tampon to stop the BP oil spill that continues to pour crude into the Gulf of Mexico.

"If you got a gigantic, huge tampon, just think about the absorbency. You put it in, like, a big steel container. You take it down there and you just let it do what ..." Kotb said, letting her ridiculous thought go unfinished. "If women were in charge, we would've already thought of that."
