'True Blood' Season 3 Trailer: Vampires and Werewolves and Eric, Oh My! (VIDEO)

It's almost here, 'True Blood' fans! And I know you're just as excited as me about the season three premiere on June 13. More Eric! More Lafayette! More Hoyt and Jessica! And, of course, more of our heroic couple Sookie and Bill. But things weren't looking so good at the end of season two. When last we left the dysfunctional residents of Bon Temps, Louisiana, Bill had disappeared out of the restaurant, just as Sookie was getting ready to say "yes" to his proposal. Oh, why'd she have to run off to the bathroom to think about it anyway?! Bad move, Sookie.
Now Bill's been abducted by God knows who (though I have a theory after the jump).
Sam had shifted into a horned beast and stabbed Maryann, and even though I pretty much hated the Maenad storyline in season two, I still felt bad for her. But not bad enough to drop to my knees and thank God it had come to an end. Not sorry to see Eggs go, either.
Sam was off to find his birth parents, and Hoyt lit into his mom and went to apologize to Jessica, who was busy sinking her fangs into an unsuspecting trucker. Will those two lovebirds get back together this season? I'm going with yes.
There are tons of 'True Blood' teasers, trailers and webisodes on both YouTube and the show's official site, but let's take a look at the Ultimate Fan Season 3 Trailer. It's got plenty of everything, including Sookie accusing Eric of kidnapping Bill, Tara being her usual whiny self, and Jason struggling with his behavior as a supportive Andy listens. I really hope we get to see more of the Jason-Andy pairing this season. And have we seen the last of Steve and Sarah Newlin?
Meanwhile, Bill crawls out of a mudpit right into the glaring eyes of what I'm guessing is a werewolf. What's worse, we've got Bill calling Sookie and saying, "Do not try to find me. I do not wish to be found." Oh dear, he must be under some sort of spell or duress or something (and it looks like Sophie-Ann, the vampire queen, has something to do with it). Can Sookie fix things with her faerie powers? Maybe, but first, let's see if she even has any powers. Oh, who are we kidding? Of course she does.
Pam has words for Lafayette, then ends up in a truly precarious situation. Eric sends someone to look after Sookie (or does he?), but then things heat up between Eric and Sookie. Hard to tell whether it's a nightmare of Bill's or something more real. What's this, though? At the end, he says into the phone, "We were doomed from the start." Oh, Bill!
