Julia Stiles Joins 'Dexter'

Julia Stiles will co-star in 'Dexter' season 5, Showtime confirmed today in a press release. She'll play a "mysterious young woman who forms a unique relationship" with the titular character, played by Golden Globe and SAG-winning actor Michael C. Hall.

According to the release, Stiles will appear in 10 episodes, with an official premiere date yet to be announced.

'Dexter' season 5 returns in September.

As previously reported, the new season will also see the return of Julie Benz, whose character was killed in the season 4 finale. Benz is reportedly scheduled to appear in the premiere episode.

This will mark Stiles' first major gig on the small screen. She's perhaps best known for her roles in films like '10 Things I Hate About You' and the 'Bourne' trilogy.
