Guillermo Challenges Scripps Bee Winner Anamika on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (VIDEO)

'Jimmy Kimmel Live' Challenges Scripps Bee WinnerSure, Anamika Veeramani correctly spelled the word "stromuhr" to win the Scripps National Spelling Bee. But Jimmy Kimmel and his staffers tested the bee queen again -- this time adding some confusing pronunciation to the mix.

The spelling bee panel on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12:05AM ET on ABC) included "Uncle Frank" Potenza and Guillermo Rodriguez, the latter in a bee costume. Guillermo's Spanish pronunciation of the word "juxtaposition" meant the more difficult job for Anamika was to first figure out the word she had to spell.

When asked to use it in a sentence, he said, "Yu-hut-ta-poz-i-tee-on is a really long word." And when she sweetly inquired as to whether someone else on the panel could pronounce the word, Jimmy replied, "Guillermo is the only official pronouncer."

So did the 14-year-old figure it out? Check out the video clip.

What crap! This idiot needs to learn to pronounce words in ENGLISH if he is going to be saying them to English speaking people! That was SO unfair, and could have cost her the title! If we did this to Hispanic speaking people, they would be in an uproar...probably picketing, filing lawsuits, etc.!

The bleeper tape that Jimmy Kimmel played on his program last night was disgusting, and I was amazed that the audience found it funny. He really went "over the line" with that one.
