"Waffle for ya?" David Letterman casually asked Kate Hudson during her visit to the 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS). From behind his desk, Dave pulled out a bowl of batter and poured it on the waffle maker sitting next to his phone.

The host continued the interview, asking Kate about her son. The actress remarked, "Look how easy! You can have a conversation and make a waffle at the same time, and you don't even have to pay attention [to it]."

But the waffle turned out "a little crispy." No matter: Dave slathered it in butter. "Pretty good," said Kate.
