A Bomb Explodes on 'Lie to Me' (VIDEO)

Dr. Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) is a genius. He can see through lies and deceit. He can "read" other people in order to learn the truth. He's an expert in psychology and in human behavior. But how much use is all of this ... when a bomb goes off right outside your office?

Violence strikes where the good guys live on 'Lie to Me' (Mon., 8PM ET on Fox). A car bomb explodes next to Lightman's headquarters, and it's up to him to figure out what is going on.

In the course of the episode, Cal realizes that he may not be able to trust his own partner. Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams) has secret information that relates to the case; info that she's kept hidden from Lightman.

Cal is supposedly so great at "reading" other people, but not in this case. Gillian has kept a secret from him for years, and Lightman may have been blinded by his affection for her. After all, sometimes it's the people that know you best who are most easily able to ... lie to you.
