A 'Bachelorette' Contestant Tries to Show His Love by Getting a Tattoo (VIDEO)

There are many different ways to creep out a potential female love interest. You could call her on the phone 10,000 times in a row. Or you could stand outside her bedroom window while holding a boombox (this one does occasionally work, though). Or you could get a terrifying tattoo symbolizing your relationship, even though you've only known the girl for a very short time.

Contestant Kasey picks the last option on the latest episode of 'The Bachelorette' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC). After freaking out Ali by singing her a love song, he then goes in an even more creepily-earnest direction. Kasey gets a tattoo on his arm in order to proclaim his feelings for Ali. The tattoo in question features a heart, a shield and a rose. Symbolism! Or insanity; you decide.

The other contestants are appropriately horrified by this gesture. Rival Ty has this to say about Kasey: "[He] is getting crazier by the minute."

Then, to add insult to injury, Kasey never even gets to show the tattoo to Ali during the episode. All of that pain and ink for nothing. Sad!
