Re-Meet ABC's 'Bachelor Pad' Contestants
If this summer just isn't looking catty and scandalous enough for your liking, ABC has a solution. From the "creative" minds behind 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette' comes 'Bachelor Pad' -- a six-episode competition that features alums from our favorite two dating shows as they reembark on the quest for love (and $250,000 -- how romantic!).
The show, hosted by Chris Harrison and Melissa Rycroft, premieres Aug. 9, and it seems that the producers have outdone themselves in gathering together all of the most irritating former contestants under one roof. We have the list after the jump, and we think you'll be surprised at just how familiar some of those faces are ...
According to PEOPLE, our 19 lucky 'Bachelor Pad' competitors are:
-- Craig Mignon, 'Bachelorette' season Ali: AKA 'Hairman,' the finely-coiffed Canadian who was more interested in stirring up trouble than winning Ali's heart. Arch-nemesis of ...
-- Jonathan Novack, 'Bachelorette' season Ali: AKA 'Weatherman,' the weedy Texan whose chicken legs and warbling serenade failed to set Ali's heart alight this season.
-- Jesse Beck, 'Bachelorette' season Ali: Nice-but-dull contractor with the yummy tattoos and surprising singing voice, now with a buzz-cut! We'll be glad to see more of his abs this summer.
-- Tenley Molzahan, 'Bachelor' season Jake: As the meek runner-up to Vienna for Jake Pavelka's heart, we can't really see her fitting in with this competitive bunch, but perhaps there will be a rose amongst the thorns for our dancing queen.
-- Wes Hayden, 'Bachelorette' season Jillian: Perhaps the show's greatest villain to date, can the country singer hit the right notes this time around? We're betting not.
-- Ashley Elmore, 'Bachelor' season Jake: The perky teacher who was only memorable for wearing a flight attendant costume to impress Jake at the first cocktail party last season.
-- Elizabeth Kitt, 'Bachelor' season Jake: After undergoing a blonde makeover, we're hoping the kiss-phobic Elizabeth is planning on being less of a tease on 'Bachelor Pad.'
-- Natalie Getz, 'Bachelor' season Jason: Bartender Natalie likes "bears." We have nothing to add.
-- David Good, 'Bachelorette' season Jillian: Inventor of the "Man Code," we wonder if David will still be more obsessed with the guys in the house than the girls.
-- Gia Allemand, 'Bachelor' season Jake: Lovelorn Gia was scorned by Jake (and after meeting her wacky family, perhaps we can't blame him), but we're hoping she finds a honey this time around. Though rumor has it that she recently rekindled things with hockey player Chris Campoli -- maybe she's only in it for the money?
-- Gwen Giola, 'Bachelor' season Aaron: Apparently, after losing she teamed up with Aaron's ex-fiancee to write the book 'Nobody's Perfect: What to Do When You've Fallen For a Jerk But You Want to Make It Work.' Talk about a woman scorned.
-- Jesse Kovacs, 'Bachelorette' season Jillian: Another Jesse (what would a 'Bachelor' show be without the multiple-name game?), this winemaker is now looking bearded and, dare we say it, much tastier.
-- Jessie Sulidis, 'Bachelor' season Jake: Best known for confronting producer-loving Rozlyn on Jake's 'Women Tell All' special, and not much else.
-- Krisily Kennedy, 'Bachelor' season Charlie: Krisily didn't make many friends when coming in second to Sarah Brice -- we're hoping that trend will continue and be the cause of more catfights.
-- Juan Barbieri, 'Bachelorette' season Jillian: "Man Code" violator Juan didn't get on so well with David. Let's see if that feud sparks back up in the 'Bachelor Pad' house.
-- Michelle Kujawa, 'Bachelor' season Jake: Crazy-eyed Michelle terrified Jake and the rest of us last season, but since she "really, really, really" wants a husband, maybe one of these Bachelors could be the guy for her?
-- Kiptyn Locke, 'Bachelorette' season Jillian: Kiptyn stayed solid while Ed and Reid were giving Jillian a rollercoaster, but nice guys always finish last -- we hope that won't be the case this time around.
-- Nikki Kaapke, 'Bachelor' season Jason: Although she was an early exiter in Jason's season, we're keeping our fingers crossed that she'll work a little of the magic that won her the first impression rose, and reacquire a personality in time for this show.
-- Peyton Wright, 'Bachelor' season Andy: Peyton got stuck on a boat third-wheeling it after she was rejected on a two-on-one date by Andy; perhaps this time around, it'll be smoother sailing towards that grand prize. It all sounds very 'Big Brother' to us, and we kinda like it! With the inclusion of weekly evictions and the possibility of reigniting a few old feuds that were snuffed out too soon, 'Bachelor Pad' sounds like fun summer TV that we just can't miss, no matter how much we might want to.
