Snooki Visits 'Fox and Friends' for a Little Political Punditry (VIDEO)

by Harley W. Lond, posted Jun 16th 2010 7:41PM
Snooki is branching out into political commentary.

In a segment of 'Fox and Friends' (weekdays, 6AM ET on FNC) titled "Jersey Shore Meets Washington" on Wednesday, co-host Gretchen Carlson talked to 'Jersey Shore's' Snooki about her recent political Tweets with Senator John McCain.

Snooki opposes the recent 10 percent tax on tanning at salons that the Obama administration tacked on to the health care legislation. McCain Tweeted her, saying "I'd never put a tax on tanning."

"I love Obama," Snooki said. "He's the president and I support him all the way. But come on, tanning?"

Snooki has been pretty vocal in her opposition to the tax, commenting that she'll use self-tanning lotions rather than pay the fee. Snooki, how does that fit in with your shilling earlier this year for Sunlove self-tanning lotions?

Fox: Hire that girl.
