Snooki vs. Sookie: The 'Jersey Shore' / 'True Blood' Mashup

It was in the back of our minds, too.

The names of two characters from hit summer TV shows are nearly identical. There's Sookie, the telepath from HBO's 'True Blood' and Snooki, the lovelorn imp from MTV's 'Jersey Shore'.

What are the chances?

Flavorwire.com has posted a 'Jersey Shore'/'True Blood' cartoon mash-up by Ryan Casey that riffs on the similarities of the names. They also rightly point out that both shows have lots of "cringe-inducing sexual situations.''

We agree, but we feel there's more to the Sookie-Snooki connection than the similarities of their names. Peruse our Sookie/Snooki mashup list and the next thing you know you'll be seeing vampires at the Bamboo Bar and guidos at Merlotte's.

Snooki: Speaks out against Obama's oppressive tanning tax.

See, we'll never look at 'True Blood' and 'Jersey Shore' the same way again!
