Betty White fever has carried TV Land's new original sitcom 'Hot in Cleveland' to record heights: 4.75 million viewers tuned in for the premiere episode, making it the highest-rated program in TV Land's history.According to Entertainment Weekly, 'Hot in Cleveland' pulled a 1.9 rating (adults 18-49), averaging 2 million viewers in the network's target 25-54 audience. The show also averaged 1.3 million among women 25-54.
'Hot in Cleveland' also stars sitcom veterans Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick as middle-aged women who find they're a hot commodity in Cleveland. The trio decide to stick around the Ohio city after their plane makes an emergency landing. While there, they rent a house that White's character has been the caretaker of for years.
