Hot in ClevelandBetty White fever has carried TV Land's new original sitcom 'Hot in Cleveland' to record heights: 4.75 million viewers tuned in for the premiere episode, making it the highest-rated program in TV Land's history.

According to Entertainment Weekly, 'Hot in Cleveland' pulled a 1.9 rating (adults 18-49), averaging 2 million viewers in the network's target 25-54 audience. The show also averaged 1.3 million among women 25-54.

'Hot in Cleveland' also stars sitcom veterans Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick as middle-aged women who find they're a hot commodity in Cleveland. The trio decide to stick around the Ohio city after their plane makes an emergency landing. While there, they rent a house that White's character has been the caretaker of for years.

TV Squad caught up with the cast of 'Hot in Cleveland' at the red carpet premiere. See what they had to say about their newly minted hit sitcom here.

I watched this new show last night and loved it. It was funny, clever, fresh. So much of what's on TV these days is so NOT worth watching. I'm thrilled to have a show like this come along and it's already programmed in my recorder so I won't miss it week to week. I hope it's around for a long time. The cast is so spectacular and each lady seems a perfect fit for their character. The talent in that cast would stretch to the moon and back. What fun!!
