What's in Store for 'Entourage': Special Guests and the Proposed Movie

According to Entertainment Weekly's PopWatch blog, Kravitz will play himself as a client of Ari's agency, with Ari (Jeremy Piven) trying to get the rocker-turned-/'Precious' costar to appear in a movie as a favor to someone else from whom Ari wants a favor. In another subplot, Diddy (fresh from stealing the big-screen comedy 'Get Him to the Greek') will appear alongside Wahlberg on the golf course, where Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) tries to recruit them as investors in his new car service business.
EW got the guest-star news from 'Entourage' showrunner Doug Ellin, who also discussed the likelihood that next year's eighth season will be the show's last, perhaps to be followed by a big-screen adaptation.
EW reports that Ellin and HBO programming chief Michael Lombardo say that season 8 will probably be 'Entourage's' last, though Ellin added that he's reluctant to let the series go so soon. "I think we've got 20 more seasons in us, but we're not going to do that," Ellin said.
As for the movie, Ellin said he's too busy in post-production on season 7 to have thought much about it, but "Mark's going to kill me if I don't write it. Everybody wants it, and we've got to make a plan for it." Ellin declined to say what might happen in the 'Entourage' feature, though he did mention one thing that would not happen: "I promise you that Turtle won't get shot." Whew, good to know.
HBO is preparing fans for what will happen to Vince (Adrian Grenier), Drama (Kevin Dillon), E (Kevin Connolly), Turtle, and Ari this season via a spoiler-filled trailer. The channel has also released a slightly racier trailer, with a couple of NSFW moments of nudity and profanity, embedded below.
