Specials Planned for Anniversary of Michael Jackson's Death

michael jacksonSeveral TV networks will mark the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death next Friday with a number of specials and tributes.

ABC's '20/20' will chronicle the investigation into the late pop star's passing and examine how Jackson's three children are coping with his loss. The news program will also feature a new tour of Neverland Ranch and an interview with Jackson's personal stylists and makeup artist, reports Variety.

MTV will celebrate the King of Pop's artistic legacy with the special 'Michael Jackson's Influence on Music,' which features the artists who have been inspired by Jackson's work. The cable net also plans to air 'Michael Jackson's Top 10 Video Countdown' on Friday and a two-hour block of his videos the following day.

A little further up the dial, VH1 will repeat the 1992 miniseries 'The Jacksons: An American Dream,' and E! will rerun a number of its Jackson-themed programs, including 'E! True Hollywood Story: Michael Jackson' and 'E! Investigates: The Last Days of Michael Jackson.'

Cable Channel Fuse will pay tribute with two new specials, 'Michael Jackson: The Inside Story' and 'Michael Jackson: A Tribute.'

TV Guide will premiere the new documentary 'Michael Jackson: Gone Too Soon,' which it recently acquired from Shine Intl., as well as repeated specials and a Jackson-oriented episode of 'Hollywood 411.'

The networks will kick off their special Jackson programming on June 25.

Bishop Dixon was former Senior Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Operations of Joe Jackson Productions of Hollywood CA.

His primary responsibility was managing the business affairs of Janet and La Toya Jacksons during the release of Janet Jackson's Control Album and Videos.

May God continue to bless the spirity and soul of Michael Joseph Jackson.
