Things went from dark and dismal to a fun romp with a canine pal on 'True Blood' (Sun., 9PM ET on HBO). And then they went dark again when Tommy seemingly lured his long-lost brother into the middle of the road, only to shift into a bird and fly away.

That family is one hot mess, and it'll be interesting to see how Sam's mom uses her shapeshifting abilities, too. Let's just hope his dad gets some new underwear -- and soon!
