'The Simpsons' and creator Matt Groening will be at Comic-Con in San Diego July 2010If you're a fan of Fox television, you're sure to enjoy Comic-Con in San Diego next month. According to Coming Soon, the network is bringing 11 of its shows to the marquee celebration of all-things geek, including old favorites like 'The Simpsons' and 'The Family Guy,' recent hits like 'Glee,' and a sneak peek at the upcoming 'Bob's Burgers' and the Steven Spielberg-produced 'Terra Nova.'

The offerings include other networks in the Fox family, including TBS and FX. Some of the voice cast from TBS's 'Neighbors from Hell' will appear, including Molly Shannon, Patton Oswalt and Will Sasso. Actors Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal and Ron Perlman and series creator Kurt Sutter will represent 'Sons of Anarchy' from FX.
The 'Glee' event will include a look at season 2 with executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, and will also feature some of the show's stars, including Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, Heather Morris and Naya Rivera. The show is adding new characters next season, which will surely be a topic at the Q&A.

A 'Simpsons' panel is always interesting. The show is entering its 22nd season, and everyone involved has stories about how their involvement has changed their lives. 'Simpsons' creator Matt Groening will be joined by showrunner Al Jean, executive producer Matt Selman and supervising director Mike Anderson in San Diego.

Groening will also be on hand for a panel on the recently re-launched 'Futurama' with executive producer Charles X. Cohen, director Crystal Chesney-Thompson, writers Ken Keeler and Patric M. Verrone, animation producer Claudia Katz and voice actors Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal and Maurice LaMarche.

The ubiquitous Seth MacFarlane will head panels on 'The Family Guy,' 'American Dad' and 'The Cleveland Show' with various cast and crew members of those shows, including Mike Henry, Alex Borstein and Seth Green.

'Bones' creator Hart Hanson and series star David Borneanaz will also appear at Comic-Con.

Other Comic-Con 2010 guests include author Ray Bradbury, writer/artist Peter Bagge, 'Bloom County' creator Berkeley Breathed, humorist Stan Freberg, former DC Comics president/editor-in-chief Jenette Kahn, comic book legend Stan Lee and Mad Magazine's Sergio Aragones.

Comic-Con 2010 kicks off on Jul. 22.

Well, I fully expected to see absolutely no names of interest to me mentioned in this article. Kind of surprised that I found two. Both Futurama and Bones would be enough for me to hit ComicCon if I could afford the whole shot.

If Comic Con even has one inkling of an announcement
about The Simpsons being renewed into the 25'th
season, I will purchase the entire 6-Season Box Set
of The Flintstones on DVD to send FOX a message,
that I HATE THE SIMPSONS! That show has gone on
much too long, and deserves to be ended or cancelled.
