Rob Schneider appeared on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated) and explained how he proposed to his fiance using a romantic gesture that went awry.

Schneider said he hid an engagement ring in a cake, then had the cake presented to his unsuspecting fiance. "She cuts the cake and she misses where the ring is. I was like, 'Have another piece, honey,'" Schneider said, adding that his fiance eventually found the ring and said yes, but not before warning him that she'd had "enough" of his hi-jinx.
