'The Simpsons' 13th Season Comes to DVD and Blu-ray August 24

'The Simpsons: The Thirteenth Season'"My head smells like 'The Simpsons' season 13." Everybody's favorite "special" Springfieldian Ralph Wiggum didn't say this, but he just might were he to see the special edition of the latest season in the shape of his head. 'The Simpsons: The Thirteenth Season' will be available for mass consumption on August 24th on both DVD and Blu-Ray.

Hardcore fans will have the opportunity to score the set a full month earlier at San Diego Comic-Con July 22-25. Fans who purchase these early copies of the season set will also receive a collectible limited edition lithograph as a free gift.

The set will feature all 22 episodes from the thirteenth season, including audio commentary on each of them from executive producers, directors, cast and even special guest stars like Stan Lee, Joe Mantegna, Delroy Lindo and others.

The Simpsons season 13Also included are deleted scenes, featurettes, animation showcases for two episodes, sketch galleries and various Easter eggs. Other than a few menu animations, the Blu-Ray set offers no additional content.

The 13th season remains the only year of 'The Simpsons' to be nominated for a Golden Globe in the category "Best Television Series -- Musical or Comedy." Find out why with lampoons of 'Harry Potter,' medical marijuana and more.

I've seen The Simpsons' Coca Cola commercial,
so as a result of their pact, I'm going to switch to
drinking Pepsi Cola until the Simpsons' deal with Coke
has officialy ended, which I hope won't be too long.
