A Parisian Is Lured by Julianne Moore's Fake French (VIDEO)

Julianne Moore speaks very little French. But, being the talented actress that she is, she can fake it well. Too well, in fact, as she discovered in Paris. Moore casually said "Bonjour!" (hello) to a street sweeper, she explained on the 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).

He returned the greeting and asked how she was doing (in French). She responded in kind with a "Ca va bien!" Moore saw him later as she exited a store. From what he said, she deciphered just enough to confidently reply, "Oui, oui."

Moments later they met again. This time she distinctly heard the word "telephone."

"At that point, I panicked," explained the actress. But it wasn't because he wanted her phone number...
