Amy Madigan Books Key 'Fringe' Role

Amy MadiganOscar-nominated actress Amy Madigan has booked a four-episode arc on 'Fringe,' in which she will play Olivia's (Anna Torv) mother, the Ausiello Files is exclusively reporting.

Madigan's arc will kick off during the season premiere. Her character is described as being "deeply devoted to her daughter," according to the report.

Madigan, who received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for the 1986 film 'Twice in a Lifetime,' recently appeared on the ABC medical soap 'Grey's Anatomy,' on which she played Dr. Wyatt.

In the meantime, Madigan, who is married to film star Ed Harris, can next be seen on the big screen in 'What's Wrong With Virginia,' from writer-director Dustin Lance Black ('Milk').

You contradict yourself in this post. You refer to her as an Oscar nominee and then say she won the Oscar (Angelica Houston actually beat for that honor).
