A Trouble-Making Phone on 'The People's Court' (VIDEO)

by AOL TV Staff, posted Jul 6th 2010 8:00PM
People rely a little too much on cell phones these days.

Take the case of the plaintiff in Tuesday's edition of 'The People's Court' (weekdays, syndicated). Back in January he was attempting to get a radio installed in his classic 1981 Camaro and he ran into some trouble. When Jude Marilyn Milian asked him if he had any photos of the car, he reached for his cell phone.

Apparently the plaintiff "couldn't get to the photo place in time." This ticked off the judge no end. She asked for his phone and a magnifying glass to see "the one-inch picture."

But it got better. The plaintiff got a ticket for parking at a bus stop, and the judge really thought that was funny, something the plaintiff just couldn't get.

[Spoiler alert]

But the best was yet to come -- as the judge was holding his phone, it rang, and she answered it. "You missed the call," she quipped.
