For His 25th Anniversary, Larry King Discusses His Favorite TV Moments (VIDEO)

On the 25th Anniversary of His Show, Larry King Discusses His Favorite MomentsIt was the 25th anniversary of 'Larry King Live' (weeknights, 9PM ET on CNN). Larry King is retiring, and we've almost reached the end of his time on this series. To celebrate this very special episode of the show, King appeared with guest Donald Trump, and let Trump turn the tables on him. Instead of Larry asking the questions, he was the one being interviewed by Mr. Trump.

Donald asked Larry about his favorite moments from his time on TV. Larry mentioned two choices for his best guests: Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra. Both of these stars were well-known for their refusal to do interviews, but Larry still got them to appear on his show. King reminisced about his odd yet charming talk with Mr. Brando. He said that Marlon brought his dog to the studio, sang songs, and kissed him at the end of the interview.

Larry also discussed his interview with Frank Sinatra -- which was the last interview that Sinatra ever did on television. Summing things up, King called Sinatra "the best entertainer of his era," which is high praise indeed.

Do yourselves a favor - read "My Remarkable Journey"by Larry King. You just might invoke some respect for the man. He and Barbara Walters are the best interviewers of the century. Unlike the new breed of interviewer, who showcase their own personality while eclipsing the person being interviewed, these professionals let the interviewee expose themselves for who they are. I am going to miss Larry King(and I'm not old)

Anyone with half a brain could take his place and do a better job. How he stayed on TV for all those years is a joke. BUT, I do think his religion had a lot to do with it, if that's what you could call it?????????
