A New Leader on 'The Bridge'Aaron Douglas stars on the series premiere of 'The Bridge' (Sat., 8PM on CBS). You may remember Douglas as Chief Tyrol of 'Battlestar Galactica' fame.

[Spoiler alert.]

Douglas plays street cop Frank Leo, who becomes angry when he learns there will be no funeral for a fellow officer who he served with. So the cop starts a walkout, and suddenly becomes the new leader of the police union. This puts him in direct conflict with the people in charge.

Anyway, that's all very exciting. But here's a more important question. 'The Bridge' is now approximately the 10,000th cop-based drama that is currently on TV. And it's being buried on Saturday nights.

Will anyone care about the story of Frank Leo? Did you watch the show? Did you find it intriguing enough that you would stick with it over all the other police-drama-based competition?
