Exclusive 'Drop Dead Diva' Music Video for Begin Again

by Maggie Furlong, posted Jul 13th 2010 5:40PM
'Drop Dead Diva' - Brooke Elliott & Paula AbdulWe love 'Drop Dead Diva.' The show is the perfect mix of heart, fantasy, love story and legal drama. And music -- you can't forget the music.

With sensationally fun numbers from star Brooke Elliott and the whole cast, as well as surprise duets with Judge Paula Abdul (shown), the show is kicking it up a notch with this week's episode (Sun., July 18, 9PM ET on Lifetime), having Jane and Grayson defend a fictitious pop duo called Confetti. Played by actresses Candice Accola ('The Vampire Diaries') and Mackenize Mauzy ('The Bold and the Beautiful'), the ladies have both been accused of murder ... but that doesn't mean they won't be belting out a tune or two.

They've got the perfect song, 'Begin Again,' to go along with the episode of the same name, and we've got the exclusive music video for their big hit single. Fake singers? And a fake music video? Who cares -- it's pretty much just an awesome slideshow of some of the show's biggest, best and funniest moments so far, and no 'Diva' fan can resist that.

The song is also part of the 'Drop Dead Diva' soundtrack, which has been on the Top Ten TV Soundtrack list on Amazon, and is also available on iTunes. (It's also had me singing 'Would I Lie to You' along with Elliott and Margaret Cho all week. Not pretty, but that's what this show does to me.)

I really like the show. My only question is when is she going to tell him who she really is? That, or will he somehow figure it out on his own?
