Kelly Ripa Spoofs 'Anne of Green Gables' (VIDEO)

Kelly Ripa spoofs the classic novel 'Anne of Green Gables' on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated), casting herself as protagonist "Kelly" Anne Shirley, and fending off the advances of Gilbert Blythe (aka husband Mark Consuelos).

First, Ripa receives a sly wink from Consuelos after running in a three-legged race. Then, Consuelos grabs at Ripa's fake red pigtails while both sit in a one-room school. Ripa retaliates by breaking a chalkboard over his head.

Kelly & Regis in PEI was Fantastic ! Hats off to Kelly on doing her Anne of Green Gables thing & also for trying to hit first place in the numbers googling PEI. No matter if Regis didn't like seafood;he was a gentleman about the province as was Kelly. I have lived in Nova Scotia all of my life & know that many Maritimers don't eat seafood, including 2 of my 3 daughters.
