The former Robocop has signed to play a darker boy in blue in the next season of 'Dexter.'

The actor, also known for his starring roles in 1984's 'The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension' and David Cronenberg's 'Naked Lunch,' has also appeared on 'Monk,' '24,' and 'Star Trek: Enterprise.'

Weller joins new faces Julia Stiles, Jonny Lee Miller, Maria Doyle Kennedy, April Lee Hernandez and Shawn Hatosy in the next stage of daddy Dexter's (Michael C. Hall) dark life.

Criminy! I hope the cameras are rolling already for a September season start and a practically whole new cast. Are the showrunners doing Comic Con, too?
