Fox Scraps 'Terra Nova' Comic-Con Panel

terra nova foxSadly, it's time to add yet another name to the list of shows pulling out of this month's San Diego Comic-Con.

Steven Spielberg's upcoming Fox time-travel adventure series 'Terra Nova' has joined 'Game of Thrones' and 'Torchwood' by canceling its scheduled Comic-Con panel, according to the Live Feed.

The reason? Seems like the showrunners don't have any footage to show to hungry Con-goers. And the series is still in the early stages of development, which makes talking about it in front of live audience a pretty hard thing to do.

Guess we won't learn anything new about the big-budget sci-fi project, co-produced by Brannon Braga ('24'), Peter Chernin and David Fury ('Lost'), once the Con kicks off next week. We'll just have to make due with what we already know until we get closer to the show's early 2011 premiere, which includes:

- 'Life on Mars' vet Jason O'Mara plays a father who travels from the year 2149 to the pre-historic era to help rebuild civilization from the ground up.

- Alex Graves ('Fringe') is directing the pilot.

- Fox has ordered 13 episodes of the series.

- There will be dinosaurs!

- It sounds awesome!

Well, I'm bummed as I had planned on attending this panel. Plenty of other things to see.
