Josh Stewart has been tapped for a role on ABC's 'No Ordinary Family.'The cast of ABC's new superhero-dramedy 'No Ordinary Family' continues to shrink and grow as the fall season nears. Back in June, we reported the loss of Tate Donovan and Christina Chang, who were both cast as in the pilot. Now, Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello is reporting TV and movie actor Josh Stewart is set for a new role.

The former alumnus of 'Criminal Minds' and 'Dirt,' Stewart has been selected to play a Watcher -- think Giles on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' -- to Michael Chiklis' character and his superhero family. Stewart's role will be a recurring one throughout the season.
Besides his roles on 'Criminal Minds' and 'Dirt,' Stewart has also appeared as a regular on 'Third Watch' and guest starred on series such as 'ER,' 'Southland,' 'Ghost Whisperer' and 'Miami Medical.'

'No Ordinary Family' is scheduled to premiere Sept. 28t at 8PM on ABC.

I was ticked off when I read they were dropping JJ from Criminal Minds. It makes since that he won't be on anymore. I loved his character from the start. I wish Josh the best of luck and he will be missed on Criminal Minds.
