The Show Girl Previews The Best & Worst Fall TV Pilots (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted Jul 16th 2010 9:00AM
James Wolk, 'Lone Star'It might be summertime outside, but fall TV is just around the corner. The must-see, the bad, the unwatchable -- I've previewed all the networks' new shows, just for you.

From an expletive-spewing dad made famous on Twitter and another family that's far from ordinary, to a sexy Texas oilman moonlighting as a con artist, there's something for every TV taste ... and some things that are completely unpalatable.

Now keep in mind that these are "not for air" pilots. In some cases, there have already been casting changes; in other cases, there should be. Either way, these thoughts are just my initial reactions to the shows. Official reviews will come when the dust settles and we see the final premieres.

Got questions? E-mail me TV questions at TheTVShowGirl@aol.com and I'll try to get you answers on the show. -- By Maggie Furlong

The only good shows on are X-Files re-runs, House, Bones, King of the Hill and Simpsons, and the Golden Girls re-runs. 'Till Death' is good, but not on often enough."Where have all the writers gone, long time passin'",(that was a song).Chris Carter needs to come up with something as good as the X-Files, but that's a tough act to follow.

James Wolk was pretty fantastic in that Hallmark movie Front of the Class so I'm delighted to see he's getting a new show.
