Gregory Itzin, an Emmy-nominee for his work on '24,' is joining 'Big Love' for the show's fifth season.

According to the Ausiello Files, Itzin will join the series as a recurring character, Senator Richard Dwyer.

Itzin's Senator Dwyer is the Republican Majority Leader of the Utah State Senate. Yes, the very same one Bill (Bill Paxton) is a member of.

Best known for his role off President Logan on '24,' we previously reported that Itzin will also pop up on USA Network's new series 'Covert Affairs' for a handful of episodes this summer.
