On 'The Glades' (Sun., 10PM ET on A&E), Jim has tried retiring from a career with the Chicago police. But he gets bored easily, so now he's an officer on the local force in Palm Glade, Florida.

Armed with his confident, devil-may-care demeanor, the homicide detective chats with a former drug dealer concerning a murder investigation.

"Oh, you know I'm a cop, right?" he says casually, smoking a Cuban. The baddie chuckles and says, "You're wasting your time. I beat those raps years ago. I'm just another retiree living out his years in Florida."

But Jim's inside information makes the ex-dealer uncomfortable, and he summons security to kick him out. Jim isn't allowed to finish his cigar, but he does leave the guy with a bit of a taste of his own uncooperative medicine.
