On 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), Elisabeth Hasselbeck cited an interview with Johnny Depp in which the actor said his dream role would be to play Carol Channing in a movie. Then, she asked Channing herself if she had any advice for Depp.

Channing, however, seemed unfazed by Depp's kooky idea, and pointed out that men have long been impersonating her. "Isn't that something? Well, I've never been done that I know of by a woman. So, it doesn't seem to shock me," Channing said. "He's a great artist."
