Jon Hamm, Mark Zuckerberg to Guest Star on 'The Simpsons'

Jon Hamm, Mad Men'Mad Men' star Jon Hamm is playing an FBI agent and Facebook co-creator Mark Zuckerberg is playing, well, himself, as the two are the latest celebs to turn yellow, as guest stars on the upcoming 22nd season of 'The Simpsons.'

Hamm, who's already dropped his uber-serious Don Draper persona to make hilarious guest appearances on '30 Rock' and as a 'Saturday Night Live' host, will drop in for a December episode called 'Donnie Fatso,' playing an FBI supervisor who works with Homer when papa Simpson goes undercover as a prison informant and worms his way into mobster Fat Tony's (Joe Mantegna) crew.

'Simpsons' executive producer Al Jean tells EW.com that Hamm's character will be completely un-Draper-y, with nary a 'Mad Men' reference in the episode.

"Jon's a gruff FBI man," Jean tells EW.com. "Homer asks if he can pick his undercover name and finally Jon just says, 'Your name will be Nicky Blue Pants Altosaxophony.' Homer says, 'Do I get to keep the name when I'm done with it?' and Jon says, 'No, it's the property of the government.' He has no patience for Homer."

Jean also expressed how impressed he was with Hamm's comedy skills. "You gave him one note and he immediately did 12 great things with it. He was really funny. And handsome. He had it all."

Meanwhile, Zuckerberg, who isn't portrayed favorably in the trailer for the upcoming David Fincher movie 'The Social Network,' an adaptation of Ben Mezrich's book about the creation of Facebook, will play up his entrepreneurial side on 'The Simpsons.'

According to NYMag.com, Zuckerberg will guest star in 'Loan-a-Lisa,' an early season episode which finds Lisa advising Nelson on how to get funding for his new bicycle company. When the two go to a convention to meet investors, they run into Zuckerberg, who reminds them that a lot of billionaire businessmen actually drop out of school, like he did at Harvard after co-founding Facebook.

Meanwhile, 'The Simpsons,' which will premiere its 22nd season on Fox on Sept. 26, has a slew of other famous types lined up for guest spots, including:

- Several cast members of 'Glee,' including Lea Michele, Amber Riley and Cory Monteith

- 'Flight of the Conchords' stars Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement

- Daniel Radcliffe, Hugh Laurie and 'How I Met Your Mother' star Alyson Hannigan for the annual 'Treehouse of Horror' episode (with 'Harry Potter' star Radcliffe appearing in a segment that spoofs 'Twilight')

- Martha Stewart in 'The Fight Before Christmas,' in which the Simpsons argue about how they should celebrate the holidays

- Los Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia

- And, rumored: Russell Brand

And among season 22's plots: Homer becomes Springfield's leading hairdresser, Maggie goes missing and Moe's Tavern becomes a trendy hotspot.
