Jonathan SadowskiHollywood is an unforgiving place, summed up perfectly by Heidi Klum: "One day you're in, the next day you're out." That's exactly what happened to actor Ryan Devlin whose role on '$#*! My Dad Says' was recast.

Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Jonathan Sadowski has landed the lead role opposite William Shatner. Devlin only shot the pilot.

Sadowski may be a somewhat familiar face to viewers, he's guest starred on shows such as 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,' 'House' and 'American Dreams.'

'$#*! My Dad Says,' alternatively called 'Bleep My Dad Says,' is based on the Twitter feed of Justin Halpern. Halpern famously chronicled his father's opinions and criticisms. The Twitter feed has spawned a book and has close to 1.5 million followers.

Shatner stars as Ed Goodson, the father who spouts the '$#*!' and Sadowski will play Henry, a struggling writer. 'MadTV' veterans Will Sasso and Nicole Sullivan also star. The series is produced by sitcom veterans David Kohan and Max Mutchnick.

'$#*!' premieres Thurs., Sept. 23 at 8:30PM ET on CBS.

Good. I hope that means Ryan Devlin will be back in Cougar Town. Didn't want to have to watch Shit just to see him.
