Batting Practice for Letterman, Denis Leary and MLB Pro Albert Pujols (VIDEO)

David Letterman literally stepped up to the plate with 'Late Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS) guests Denis Leary and baseball slugger Albert Pujols."You and I and Albert Pujols will be out on 53rd Street and, if you don't mind pitching, we're gonna take a little batting practice," Letterman told Leary.
The actor said that pitching would be "a thrill. But I saw the little protective thing you have for the pitcher -- doesn't look very protective."
But he obliged for Team Late Show. Letterman went to bat first and didn't do too badly. But of course, the nine-time All-Star and three-time MVP was better. "I thought you were pitching," Pujols said to Letterman. The host threw him a couple from the side.
