Cheyenne JacksonAnd in hourly 'Glee' news ...

Looks like another Broadway star is going to make his mark on 'Glee.' Cheyenne Jackson is joining the cast as the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline.

According to Ausiello Files, Jackson is replacing Idina Menzel's Shelby. Don't fret, Idina fans, she'll be around again, after all she is Rachel's biological mom and the new adoptive mom of Quinn and Puck's baby.

This past season, Jackson was a recurring guest star on NBC's '30 Rock.' He played a cast member of 'TGS' and love interest for Liz Lemon.

And there's even more 'Glee' news, after the jump ...

According to Fox, the boys of 'Glee,' Chris Colfer, Mark Salling, Kevin McHale and Cory Monteith, will co-host Fox's 'Teen Choice Awards' alongside Katy Perry on Aug. 9 at 8PM ET. The 'Teen Choice Awards' honor the best in tween/teen culture from movies and TV to athletes and video games.

'Glee' is nominated for 13 awards. This is the 12th 'Teen Choice Awards' ceremony.

As we previously reported, Patrick Gallagher's Coach Tanaka has been written out of the series.
