Corey Stoll Signs on as 'Law and Order: LA' Lead

Corey Stoll just got a badge. The 'Salt' star has signed on to play the detective lead opposite Skeet Ulrich in NBC's 'Law & Order: LA.'

According to Deadline Hollywood, Stoll will play TJ Jaruszalski, a confident Los Angeles native who has a pretty cynical view of the entertainment industry. Stoll's character has also been described as a very social health buff.

Besides 'Salt,' Stoll has recently appeared on 'The Good Wife,' 'NCIS' and 'Law & Order.'

Ulrich will play Stoll's partner, Detective Rex Winters, an ex-Marine who gained experience during the Rodney King riots.

Alfred Molina was also recently cast in 'Law & Order: LA' as Deputy District Attorney Morales.

Actually, Molina is of Spaniard decent. And I agree that there needs to be more latin or hispanic characters in television and movies. Especially in a city like LA. And also New York City, where I'm from. There are nothing but latin cops and detectives. So if you're going to make a show; make it legit

Actually Molina is of Spaniard decent. And I agree that there needs to be more hispanic or latin characters in tv and movies. Especially in a show about LA, no way around it. New York as well, which is where I'm from and on the Police Force there is nothing but latin cops and detectives. Gonna make a show keep it legit.

Oh, for crying out loud> there are alot of shows.. award and otherwise that has only certain ethnic groups, and no so called "whites" anywhere.. good.. to each his own.. but to drag down on something because your bro isn't there is getting olddddddd!!!! I am fine with ethnic shows, and watch and enjoy them, but I don't sit down and watch a movie or anything else and worry about the color of anyone's skin> vive la difference.. even if I do spell that wrong.. lol
