Liev Schreiber: Real Russian Spy Ring Was Good Marketing for 'Salt' (VIDEO)

Was last month's exposure of Russian spies living the U.S. for real -- or just Sony's brilliant marketing plan? Liev Schreiber investigates on 'The Daily Show' (weeknights, 11PM ET on COM). The 'Salt' star would know: His co-star Angelina Jolie plays an agent accused of being a Russian spy."Did you think to yourself, 'A hot Russian spy undercover? It's not believable,'" asks Jon Stewart of the film's plot.
"No one would believe it except for the spectacular marketing campaign of Sony," says Schreiber. "The great length they went to to actually set up these 10 Russian spies..." he jokes, referring to the real-life Russian agents the FBI discovered living in all-American suburbia.
"I gotta say, it was crazy," says Stewart of the timing of the revelation and the film's premiere.
