Bill Cosby is the latest victim of an Internet-wide death hoax. Despite "Bill Cosby died" being the number one trending topic on Twitter this evening, the beloved comedian confirmed on his account that he is very much alive and well.

"Again, I'm rebuttaling rumors about my demise. But, I'm confirming I have an app - http://bit.ly/BillCosbyApp :)," tweeted the 73-year-old actor.

He later wrote, "Emotional friends have called about this misinformation. To the people behind the foolishness, I'm not sure you see how upsetting this is."

This is the second fake death rumor for Cosby, after a false CNN report circulated in February. Other celebrities who have notoriously been declared dead while still, in fact, alive and kicking are Keith Olbermann (a Wikipedia entry was to blame) and Jeff Goldblum (a New Zealand news station even reported on it, and Goldblum appeared on 'The Colbert Report' to deny the claims).
