Spoilers Anonymous In-Depth: 'Chuck'

This is Spoilers Anonymous In-Depth, a weekly column here at TV Squad where we discuss and give our two cents about recently released spoilers and how they may affect the storylines, shows and fans.

This in-depth version of the column goes hand in hand with our weekly spoilers column in which we supply you with the dirt on some of the more popular shows on the air.

This week, we discuss spoilers recently released for the upcoming season of 'Chuck.'

- The season will pick up after Ellie has discovered Chuck's spy life and them going through the mourning of their father Steven. Linda Hamilton will play the recurring role of badass Mary Bartowski. Mary was a CIA spy who was shrouded in secrets. There is a baby Awesome in the works.

When we were first introduced to the Bartowski family, they looked like a loving and somewhat normal family until Chuck was inadvertently brought in the spy world. Next season, the Bartwoski family will be rather similar to the Bristow family on 'Alias,' where family members are spies and have more secrets than one can't count. OK, Ellie is not a spy but now that she is in on her brother's secret, she will somewhat be involved in this side of his life even if it's just to tell him she wants nothing to do with it and urge him to quit.

It will be quite entertaining to see how Mary will be brought in the fold and if she'll turn out to be the season's "big bad." Her reappearance will definitely rock Chuck's and Ellie's lives who have a lot of mommy issues since she left them when they were so young. It'll more than likely be more emotional for Ellie now that she will be pregnant and will ponder what type of mother she will be. Luckily, Awesome will be by her side.

It's clear that Chuck will not quit the spy world, even if Ellie demands it, as he'll want to track down their mother. But will Baby Awesome make him try to tone down his spy activities so that Awesome and Ellie are not entangled and put in danger by his work?

One of the most interesting part of the mother twist will be to uncover all of her secrets and other tidbits we have yet to learn about the Bartowskis.

- John Casey's daughter, Alex, is going to be a recurring guest star.

John Casey is by far my favorite character of the series. Alex will not only allow us to discover a new side of John Casey and some intel about his past, but she'll also crack his hard skin and allow a vulnerable John to come out. More than likely, she'll end up moving in with him. But will she be brought in the spy world maybe by working at the Buy More? For sure, Alex will be once again put in danger because of John's true work.

Another good side of Alex recurring on the show is that Morgan will surely try over and over again to get her to agree to go on a date!

- Chuck and Sarah will still be together.

What more is there to say to this spoiler other than "YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

- In other spoilers news for the show, the Buy More will be rebuilt but will now be run by the CIA.
