What constitutes a mistake on the job? How far is too far to go, and what should a boss actually get angry about? This is the topic up for discussion on 'Flipping Out' (Tue., 8PM ET on Bravo).

The series involves the high-pressure world of real estate sales; and so the stakes are high. Jenni forgets a client's phone number, and so Jeff Lewis can't call that client while driving to an appointment. But then, Jeff gets a little too upset about it. Jenni offers the defense that "mistakes happen," and Jeff points out that this is a meaningless thing to say.

In a way, they're both right ... or are both wrong. Jeff is really rude and kind of awful. On the other hand, it is true that "mistakes happen" is a terrible defense. True -- mistakes do happen. But still, that's not a good excuse when you're on the job. Yes, accidents can happen. But it's your job as an employee to make sure that they don't happen.

Still, in the end, Jeff ruins the whole thing by going too far with his anger. He's so mad about Jenni's error that he threatens death. "I'll kill myself," he says. "I'll run this car into a wall -- I'll just end the pain." Whoa! Overreact much, Jeff?
