Cutting Edge Hand Transplant Featured on 'The Huckebee Show' (VIDEO)

Amazing medical science was on display during Thursday's 'The Huckebee Show' (Weekdays, syndicated.)

Mike Huckabee welcomed former marine corporal Joshua Maloney , who lost his hand in a training exercise, and is one of the nine people in the country who has received a complete hand transplant.

The now 24-year old was able to effortlessly shake Huckabee's hand upon introduction.

Dr. Andrew Lee, who performed the procedure, was asked why hand transplants from cadavers aren't the solution for everyone who has lost a hand. "I think ultimately it will be," Lee responded.

"Josh, do you feel like it's your hand now," Huckabee wondered. "Does it have the feeling it's yours?"

"I've never had a problem with it," Maloney responded.
